Welcome To the New Portal

As you can see we have add a portal to WiimoteProject to help users find what they are looking for and to keep everyone up to date on what is going on.  Right now there is not to much to see on the portal but soon we will start to add things like: featured topics, featured projects, current events, latest news, just to name a few.  Also we will focus on getting new users plugged in to help them get started.

If anyone has Ideas for things you would like to see on the portal please let us know.  Just contact one of the staff members by PM or Email.  My email is admin [at] wiimoteproject.com

Thanks for staying with us as we make some changes here and we hope that the new portal will be helpful for everyone.

Glad you like it.  Please let us know if you have any suggestions of what would help new members or members in general out.

hi, i heard this at school from my teacher and i had to check it out. I like these kind of technological things so im gonna hook up my own wiimote touch/multitouch monitor. My teacher also hooked up his own wii touch system.

Thank you for your amazing ideas,

I've got an idea for the portal. I think it would be handy to put up some of the very common troubleshooting threads in a permanent easy to see location. Threads like the Bluetooth connection guides and the common whiteboard softwares with their respective troubleshooting threads.

Perhaps an FAQ linked to key threads?

Yeah, that would be good. The point would be to reduce repetitive new user threads. I know that there will always be unnecessary posts from folks that don't like doing research, but if it were right on the front page, then it would at least decrease some of the new threads covering the same material over and over.

I have made a test menu about the announcements board to show you what we can do with the portal, we can add menus or useful information to any different board.  I think we need to make a good list of useful topics and post to put in the menus.

Thanks for your ideas!
