Bluetooth Adapter: TBW-105UBI can get it to pair up but thats about it, I think the trendnet software is causing the problem. But what does everyone use for there adapter? We can make a list of the ones that work for people wanting to go out and buy one. Dice

Mine is nothing special. It's an old 1.1 dongle. Although I am sure I have a 2.0 compliant dongle somewhere, I can't find it Here's a description I found on the net: http://www.evrenlimited.com.tr/powerlead/pl.htm

Hey Dice. I got exactly the same USB Bluetooth adapter, just hooked it up today. Couldn't get it to work with the provided drivers nor the BlueSoleil stack, but I followed a link the following page from Broadcomm: http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_update.phpThis software let me recognize the device and I've been able to use it as a mouse with IR pen so far. I got the initial info from this page: http://www.wiili.org/index.php/Compatible_Bluetooth_DevicesNow, on to positioning!!

I am using a Kensington Bluetooth USB Adapter 2.0 but cant get it to connect using Bluesoli either. Only connects with the built in bluetooth on my hp laptop running xp. Every time I want to use it I has to add it as a device all over again.

I have the same adapter. I get the device to connect, but I get an error when Wiimotelib can't find the HID. What did you do to get WiimoteLib to work with your "Kensington Bluetooth USB Adapter 2.0"?

Still connecting to the Wiimote as a bluetooth device isn't the same is having it work with WiimoteLib. They need a wiki page to say which adapters work with WiimoteLib.

i dont think the wiki is 100% accurate. or at least not all possibilities with each device has been tried. I got my linksys device on that list to work without the driver install pack from linksys and without bluesoliel or whatever it is. i posted about it in the whiteboard section. changed the wiimote lib connect call in johnnys ap so not all hope is lost if your adapter is not on the list or it has some special scenario on the list.

I have an Iogear bluetooth adapter, not sure which model but it shows up as a Broadcom BCM2045A under the device manager.
It connects to the Wii remote, but does not work with the Wiimotelib. It DOES, however, work with GlovePIE, WiinRemote, the HL2 WiiMod, and all other Wiimote apps I've tried.
I'd run BlueSoliel on it, but BS doesn't work with/recognize this particular adapter. So I'm running the Widcomm stack that came with the adapter.
Your programs don't seem to like it either.

I'm having success with a dongle I got at Staples. Targus Bluetooth 2.0 adapter with EDR. I had to get the drivers from the Targus site. I'm using Vista. I had to update to the latest WiimoteLib to connect properly. I posted the details on my blog at http://tagenigma.com

Does anyone know if the USBBT100 version 2 works? I assume version one just means that it's not USB 2? I think I might pick up one of these (USBBT100 v2) and give it a go
