Hi everyone,
Im having a problem connecting the wiimote to my pc.
I am using Vista and bluesoleil (6.4.237.0) dongle (ky bt100).
When I search I find the wiimote, so i click connect and the LED's stay flashing indefinatley.
I have tried opening Glovepie to see if anything gets recognised but nothing happens (have tried with and without the bluetooth fix)
I have also tried wiinremote and that remains on not connected and nothing happens.
Please help cos this is cracking me up, I only want to be able to play guitar hero on my pc with my wiimote and guitar lol.

Thanks in advance for your time....

Have you read and followed: http://www.wiimoteproject.com/bluetooth-and-connectivity-help-center/bt-problems-a-self-help-guide-**-please-read-before-posting-problem**/

Have you tried Wiimote Smoothboard? It is know to work on Vista if it works then its of software problem not a connectivity problem.

Hi benpaddlejones,
Yes I have followed the guide, and smoothboard wont find wiimote. I have read through the other posts about flashing leds by doing a search, I wouldnt post if i hadnt had a good go myself.
Since I posted I have deleted all logitec and setpoint stuff, I also had a wireless dongle in the back for a media centre remote, I have deleted the drivers for that too, (thinking that may have something to do with it, but apparently not).

My Device Manager now looks like

The funny thing is I have used the same hardware and software on a older pc with xp on and it works, I would use that pc, but its a dog and needs
This is really cracking me up because I cant for the life think what is wrong.

Thanks

Ste

EDIT: Since deleteing the x10 drivers got me no further (and also deleted HID Keyboard), Ive re-installed them,

The problem is its detecting the Wiimote as a joystick not a keyboard device.

Try:
1. Remove BT USB
2. Delete "Bluetooth device"
3. Delete " Bluetooth Pan network adaptor"
4. Delete "mice & other pointing devices/HID Complient Device"
5. Delete "Human Interface Device/HID Complient Device & HID Consumer control device"
If your mouse/keyboard stops working unplug them and plug them back in
6. Run ccleaner registry fix
7. Reboot
8. Disable all network/system security (teatimer/deferender/norton/firewall/etc)
9. Insert USB & wait for software to install
10. Reboot comp
11. Test with other BT device (phone/hardware/etc)
12. Post results

Thank you for the help so far, but still no joy....
When I delete the HID stuff then restart my pc, they all re-appear, should I delete the drivers for the HID stuff.
BTW, all my phones connect and transfer ok.
Will Have a fiddle about later, got to go to work (Booo)

Cheers!

1. Create a system restore point
2. Remove Bluesoleil
3. Run ccleaner registry cleaner
4. Check "turn off system restore"   start/my computer/properties/system restore
4. Follow: http://www.telusplanet.net/public/wladykad/

This will change you over to widcomm and hopefully solve all your problems.

p.s. before you do this are you using the latest full Bluesoleil (not demo?).
