Not sure what the problem is - Everything has been working fine until tonight - Now when I load Smoothboard my mouse won't work and cursor is jumping around the desktop.

Not sure if this is a bluetooth or smoothboard issue.

Hi there, without any other information to go on, I'd say it sounds like a classic case of stray infrared light confusing the wiimote.

To confirm, check the calibration assistant in SmoothBoard. If there are IR dots showing, but you are not using your pen, it means that some other IR source is present. Has the sun moved around to a new position, or have you turned on lights that were previously off when your system worked well?

You have two options to try:
1. Remove/reduce the stray infrared light (curtains/turn lights off)
2. Use the SmoothBoard control panel to reduce the wiimote's sensitivity.

Let us know how you get on.

Unlikely, as the remote only transmits infrared light when someone is using it.
The easiest way to check whether ir light is the problem is to check the SmoothBoard
calibration assistant as mentioned.

Dave -

The TV was on! I feel a little stupid.  Turned TV off and everything is back to normal.  I'm new to this site.  I'm a teacher and using Active Inspire, free software from Promethean.  It works really well for lesson plans.  Where should I post this concept?

Thanks again,
