The error message I receive when starting up either WiimoteWhiteboard v0.3.exe  or Smoothboard indicates there is no Wiimote found in the HID device list (or stack).

I do not see an HID device listed when using Device Manager, but the bluetooth shows up.

Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3, and just installed Netframe 3.5
BlueSoleil bluetooth installed. The Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 shows on the BlueSoleil screen.

I would appreciate any advice, or links I should read.

Thank you.

Hi,

What do you see in the HID device list in Device Manager?
If possible, please do post a screenshot of the expanded list in Device Manager.

Are you using the latest version of Bluesoleil?

Thank you for the response.
The devices under Human Interface Devices are: HID compliant consumer control device.
and USB Human Interface Device.

The BlueSoleil is Version: 2.6.0.8 Release 070517
                   Stack Version: 06.03.27.20061108

Hi,

Thank you for the screenshot.

The installation of the Wii Remote as a HID device may not be successful.

I would recommend you to install the latest version of Bluesoleil although it is just a demo.

Alternatively, you can remove/uninstall Bluesoleil and use the MS Bluetooth stack instead.

If you are using the MS Bluetooth stack, you can automatically connect the Wii Remote in Smoothboard.

Thank you Boon Jin.

Your Smoothboard software works very well once I removed the BlueSoleil drivers.

The only way I can make WiimoteWhiteboard v0.3.exe recognize the Wiimote is if I first run Smoothboard.

If anyone has suggestions on how to make the WiimoteWhiteboard v0.3.exe recognize the Wiimote it would be most helpful.

Is there an action I can take which makes the Wiimote show up in then HID stack, other than running Boon Jin's software?

2) Second question.
Calibration with WiimoteWhiteboard v0.3.exe?
The first X appears, and no other X's appear.
The Wiimote is in the same position as worked with the Smoothboard, so probably not the camera angle.
The calibration does work if I am using just my screen.

Thank you for any help.

Hi,

Are you using a 64-bit operating system?

The software that you are using may not be compatible with 64-bit operating systems.
