I got the wiimote-whiteboard up and running perfectly with my brother's wiimote.
So I bought my on, but now it isn't working anymore!?
Any thoughts?

Are you having problems getting the Wii Remote connected to the computer, or getting the software to get data off of it?

That's odd, and a little concerning - though I think we'd be seeing more reports if Nintendo changed the Wii Remote to not work with PCs.

Have you tried using both the sync button and 1+2 button discovery methods?

For reference, are the two product IDs on the left side of the remote or label inside the battery compartment either:

I've used both methods, but neither of them work.
It says

My pc views the wiimote, but I'm not getting a connection (the green arrows don't appear).

Intersting, so not a hardware rev.  Dunno - I'm only familiar with the Mac side of things.

Problem solved,

I 've re-installed the bluetooth software and now all is working like before.

My IR pen looks nifty, but I think I' going to need a brighter IR-LED.
