Yes this bluetooth adapter works with wiimote if you are using Windows XP.
I just got one from dealextreme as well. It connects with windows xp without any additional drivers.
If using windows xp or Vista, do not use the driver from the disc provided. Just plug in and windows would recognize.

In fact I could connect 2 wiimotes too.

It is so small , I just left it plugged in.
