Is it possible to connect the wiimote to a cellphone with bluetooth and then write a java(ME)-program that processes and displays the data sent from the wiimote.

I want to attach the wiimote to my bike to see how high i can jump and alot of other useless stuff :D

Regarding Java and Bluetooth on cellphones:

The official Java Bluetooth (JSR-82) specification doesn't allow to connect to the Wii Remote. The reason is that a direct connection to PSM 0x11 and 0x13 (HID profile) via L2CAP is required and JSR-82 only allows connections to PSM range 0x1001 to 0xFFFF. It will only work if the cell phone Java implementation violates JSR-82 on purpose. I don't know about that.

I'm not surprised when we have java to deal with ;)

How about Mophun, .NET-mobile and other APIs for phones?

I have my issue regarding with this scenario. I'm trying to transfer some of the stuff I downloaded and I transferred them to my phone using a usb connector. However, when i try to connect using bluetooth it finds the wiimote but I need a passcode.
