Hey guys,

I was wondering as to what setup someone could use to control the camera (head/LED Glasses or headset) separately from a pointer (Wiimote + Nunchuck-I need the joystick).  I would want to have the handheld controller be captured independently from the headset. I also want a Z axis (depth).

An Idea that I had would be to have a wiimote at the base of the TV to capture the headgear LED's, and a sensor bar above the TV so the held wiimote can be used as a pointer. Would this work with some creative programming, or would the cameras pointing at eachother cause interference?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Pointing the Wiimotes towards each other will not cause any interference.

Your issue will most probably come in accurately determining the depth (z-axis). If you are using a single Wiimote to track the headset, then you will need at least 2 IR LEDs.
