Hey guys. I'm all new to this so I apologize if I ask something dumm. I was wondering if it is possible to create a version of the Wii bowling game for a PC using the Wiimote, and if there has been such an attempt.
Thanx a lot

Yeah it's possible. I'll check around to see if any flash games or anything have been made, but I think the answer is no. Well see though.

EDIT:
Well it looks as if I stand corrected, because here's something made as a simulation. It's got an awesome name of 'Buckeyball Bowling' which just cracks me up. Didn't find a link though to the actual simulation.

And this link is a bunch of Wiiflash games to be played through the Opera browser on your Wii. It's not quite what you're looking for, but with some hacking through glovepie and maybe a makeshift sensor bar, you can play them on your computer.

As for a game that takes advantage of the accelerometers... I've seen nothing yet. Most people have been focusing on using the headtracking because of its 'virtual reality' implications and paying less attention to the accelerometers inside the wiimote.

Does that help you any?
