I searched but did not find my answers so I am making  a post.

Is there a mobile version of the white board software?

My goal: Basically i want to create a mobile projection touch screen using a cell phone.  To fully control the phone using a light pen

Items involved:

Touch Pro 2 Mobile 6.1 phone
Touch Pro 2 Video out cable
Mini Projector (one that is compatible with touch pro.)
Wii Remote
Lightpen

Soon there will be phones with built in projectors.  Seems like a perfect match to make software that links the remote with the new phones.

There is a Java version of the white board software, so if your phone can run a java virtual machine then you may be able to run that, but the bigger question is this: "How are you going to connect the Wii Remote's bluetooth to your phone's bluetooth?" The blue tooth that would be built into a cell phone would be designed to be a client device connecting to a computer for the purpose of syncing media and address books. I think you would be VERY hard pressed to find a bluetooth stack that runs on a cell phone and make the ongoing connection to the Wii remote.

Please try. I am interesested to see if it works.  Grin

I am not sure how familiar you are with windows mobile devices.  I do not know how limited they are in bluetooth ability but i can say that using bluetooth i can network with my computer or other phones and activesync.

Its a pretty robust bluetooth.

HTC Touch pro 2

It has the  java ability also

Hi,

Previously I had a Windows Mobile 5 device but it is dead now. Sad

Usual mobile devices only supports J2ME.
Also, you will have difficulties finding a Bluetooth stack that will connect the Wiimote.

Long ago there were some projects working on Windows Mobile Bluetooth drivers to connect the Wiimote such as WiiMob but I believe those have been suspended.

You may need to work from scratch for your case. This includes developing the Wiimote Bluetooth connectivity, Wiimote library and whiteboard capability.

Because it's free and open source, Google's  Android( http://developer.android.com/index.html )  has been supported by MOTOROL,SAMSUNG,DELL,LG,Sony Ericsson and LENOVO. It uses a modified version of the Linux kernel. So you can do it in Java in this platform I guess. http://developer.android.com/reference/packages.html
