This can be already done with Smoothboard's Presenter mode.
All you need to do is set Smoothboard to Presenter mode found in the main window and place an always-on IR LED at the bottom of the screen.
If you have two Wiimotes, you can use the Whiteboard and Presenter functionality simultaneously.
