Hi,

You will need to use your IR pen to calibrate the system.
After clicking on one point, the next point will appear until the fourth point where the calibration is complete.

The Calibration is required so the software can do the necessary mathematical transformation to determine the physical position/orientation of the screen in respect to the Wiimote's perspective.

For more details on how you can set up the wiimote whiteboard system can look at the guide written by Ben Jones at http://www.boonjin.com/smoothboard

I got the Wiimote Whiteboard menu to come up. Wheni clicked on calibrate the board appeared with o bulls eye. I used the pen on the eye and nothing happened. Just by Chance I pointed the pen at the Wii and the 2nd eye appeared and so forth until all 4 were checked.  The board then dissapears and the wiimote whiteboard menu reappears. I have attempted to use the pen on the board projection but nothing happens. What am I missing?

Hi,

The Wiimote is unable to capture the IR source due to the weak IR source or low sensitivity of the IR camera of the Wiimote.

From my experience, users who encountered such issue and have working IR Pens usually have a faulty or non-genuine Wiimote. You should try to get another Wiimote and try out the software if you are sure that your IR Pen is working well with enough battery and also the wavelength emitted is about 940nm which is the approximately the optimum value for the Wiimote.

Also, you should try to use the Smoothboard software as you will be able to track the IR points in real-time via the Calibration Window. With this, you should be able to troubleshoot your issue easier.
