I have this project but I don't know if it would work, so I'm asking if anyone has tried the following.

2 or 4 remotes, connected and placed on each corner of a display, facing in, so since the FoV is 45 degrees, with 4 remotes you can cover the whole area, lets say a 65" screen, the reason for the question is that i dont have the overhead space to place a remote.. any ideas???

Thanks

I believe the current best application for wiimote boards (Smoothboard in my opinion) only allows for 2 wiimote coverage. Could you try a less extreme angle but with two wiimotes? say instead of just off the surface, maybe 5-10 inches off the surface point towards the middle? On the sides of course. Or one at an extreme angle and one on a bookshelf or something?

If you want to get really fancy, you may be able to put one at an extreme and use an optical lens to make the camera see a wider angle. I don't know if it's been done before, but it would sure be cool.

Hello everyone,
I also intend to play with this, but let me first notice that I found somewhere that Bluetooth would allow attaching only up to 7 Wiimote devices.

My question is: is pairing the devices essential for using more than one simultaneously?
