I looked for reflective tape and for now only found
3M scotchlite tape that seems not to perform good enough
and industrial grade corner cube reflector plates that cannot be simply cut with scissors and are very expensive.

Where did Johnny Lee get his flexible honey / hex style tape from ?

I prefer this to LEDs on gloves or glasses, because it's wireless.

Update: I've got more samples of 3M "Scotchlite" tapes/self-adhesive-films and now ALL worked well.
Even other, cheaper brands seem to work.
I will update you later, what's best for my type of application.

hello,

I have tried 3M tape as well but it didn't work.

I built multiple IR walls, have tried with two powerful Sony emitters,
it works but only from a few inches ...

Can you tell more about your setup ?
How many LEDs did you use ? Where did you put your Wiimote ?

So far, i found that same hex-style tape on this apparel,

sorry, but i have no idea. I'm still actually trying to get a usb bluetooth adapter that will work with jcl's programs. i'm very, very new to all the going's on with the wiimote, but i've been looking around for possible sources of everything needed.

The IST bluetooth stack works rather well,
be careful, HP bluetooth don't work at all.

I just started an open hardware project as a building block for all sorts of head tracking related Wiimote projects:
It uses up to 9 IR-LEDs mounted at the Wiimote-TFT-fitting pointing toward the users head and two to four reflective markers at the tracking gear.
You can use the "kit 2" for monoscopic and stereoscopic (!) VR and gaming projects.

Does anyone have info on how different colors of reflective material work? I suppose that white reflects the broadest spectrum, but how do orange and yellow material work?

Who provides to make it work ? And what kind of reflective tape did you use ? Where can I find it ?
I currently use tapes that don't seem to work...

They don't say if it can reflecte IR rays
