Have tried Bubka's (Feb9/09) suggestion of  using an eraser to permently holding down the red sync button to enable the blue tooth connection when the Wiimote is attached to the ceiling etc.  It doesn't work as it only syncs for a set time and the lights stop flashing before I can connect .  However if I hold down buttons 1 & 2 permanently, I can connect remotely .What is the effect of permanently holding down buttons 1 & 2?

The only problem that we know of is that it keeps the wiimote permanently in "discoverable" mode. This can become an issue if there is more than one wiimote within range of your computers Bluetooth - e.g. in an adjacent classroom. It can be very confusing!
