Hi everybody,

It seems i have connected the wiimote to my laptop successfully, using IVTBluesoleil6.

I then launch wiimotewhiteboard (v0.3), the wiimote can be seen (it shows battery level) but next to "visible IR dots" it shows 1 2 3 4 from the very beginning !

What i tried to do :
     * turn off all light sources, also put my hand before the camera
     * resync the wiimote several times
     * restart wiimotewhiteboard, try older versions too (same problem)

I have to say i bought the wiimote there : http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14237

Please, can anyone help me Huh ^^

Thx in advance!

Hi,

You should use Smoothboard as I have made the software to work with some of these non-original Wiimotes.
I have also developed many features that you will find useful in your lessons. Smiley

You can download the software from http://www.smoothboard.net

You also might try taking a Sony HandyCam or other camera that has an IR night shot mode.  Through this camera lens, once it's in night shot mode, you should be able to see these sources of IR light if they truely exist.

By the way this is also a good technique to test if your IR pen is working. Press the button and your LED should light up. If it doesn't.... "Well there's yrr problem."  <--- hick voice.
