Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

first i would like to say sorry for my bad english, but I have several questions to you:

I would like to use the wii remote on my PC.
What do i need?

The only thing I got is a simple Bluetooth-Dongle.

What else do I need?

In my opinion, I will need the following things:
- Wii Remote Sensor Bar: this one or this one or that one ?
- Wii Remote
This one
- Nun Chuck Controller
this one

Do I need something else? Or is that all I need?

Thanks in advice

Hi!

It all depends on what you want to do with your wiimote...

As long as it is related to the applications on this site (ie Johny Lee's projects)

You need

1 a working bluetooth connection to a wiimote
(if you already have a wiimote this is the first step to test)

2 an IRbar for the VR-desktop
(not the one from Wii - but a DIY with 2 IRdiodes at a known distance apart)

OR

2 IRpen for the Wiimote whiteboard
(also DIY)

It all depends on what you intend to do...

I also wrote about it here:

Thanks for your post.

The Problem is: I don't have a Nintendo WII so i could not test if the WIIMote Works with my BT-Stick or not.

What i want to do? Play Games with "my" wiimote ... CoD, Tennis Games etc.

I don't know if I understand your needs... but if you want to use the Wiimote whiteboard check this page:

http://clinik.net/wiimote/wiimote_info_working.php

and those pages:
http://clinik.net/wiimote/wiimote_info.php
http://clinik.net/wiimote/wiimote_info_my_pen_1.php

You don't need the wiimote console itself - only a wiimote , and this you can buy separately from the console
