I used a D-link DBT120 dongle at 1st. I then tried it with a cheapo dongle I bought off eBay for £5 and that worked fine too with BlueSoleil. Both paired with the Wiimote and worked with the software.

For the glasses I used some old safety glasses, removed the glass, built a little wiring rig with a battery holder and a switch and 2 Superbright LEDs. They work fine and have a decent viewing angle. I bought them from Maplins for a quid each or so.

Try Bluesoleil see if it works with your dongle. Better than the OEM software usually.
Just uninstall the Trendnet stuff 1st.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Basic, with a Sitecom CN512 bluetooth dongle. Vista recognised it and could connect the wiimote, but the programs didnt recognise it. Then I installed Bluesoleil 5.0 for 32 bit OS, and it worked perfectly. Awesome stuff from Johny Lee
