I can say is what I need to start working with the Wiimote that is libraries to develop my own software

 and if there is any instance where the connection is made  ;D

Hi,

You may take a look at Brian Peek's Wiimote Library which comes with a sample test application which uses the Wiimote.

You may take a look at the following book too:
