hi, im really new here, ive discovered the wiimote hack some days ago and i couldnt wait to try so i bought a wiimote and some components.
ive "created" this two pens:

the one on the left has a presure switch, not on the tip, but on the rubber grip. so there is no switch visible, but when you squeeze very little activates the led. it works with a 3mm ir led and 2 batteries in parallel to maximize life. dont know the refference of the batteries, they are like twice the height of typical wrist watch batteries, 1.5v.

the pen on the right works with a 5mm led and a presure switch on the tip, so when you "write" it activates. powers with a single rechargable battery AAA 1100mA. On the back of the pen is a 2.5mm minijack plug to charge the battery inside.

both works flawlesly!
now that i have the adecuate instruments to work with, i'd like to discover new things i can make with the wiimote. especialy i like the foldable displays of johnny, but i couldnt find anything on the forum...
well, hope you liked my pens!
bye

Really nice pens!

Now to the bad part... there has been no release of the software for the foldable display - I would love to mess around with that - making an interractive boardgame is on my mind... (i really like the part of the video where he tilts the display in various directions...

to bad there is no public release of the foldable display soft  Cry
wonder why johnny didnt release the code... many great ideas would come if the code where available to the programmers.
ive seen other guy on youtube that could do the "same", but it wasnt even near to the accuracy and speed of the original... although it is good begining
bye

I love your Pilot-marker pen.  I'm working on one myself, but I can't find the Pilot markers locally.  Can you give me details on the one you used? I want to order some pens on-line, but I have to order them in quantity and want to make sure I'm getting something usable.

1) Which model Pilot marker did you use? (does it have a model number?)
2) How many and what size batteries did you manage to fit inside?

1) i dont know the model number, but they are "Velocity Bic" pens
2) 2 batteries in parallel, dont know either the reference, but you can find very little batteries on any watch shop...
