How does clicking with a light-pen work, Does the mouse follow the LED? Does it click when it senses the IR? I'm confused, how does the system generally work?

Fopenplop (great user name reminds me of Mad Magzine sounds)
Think of it like a touch screen. The IR-led is only illuminated when the switch is pressed. The computer registers a mouse click at the location a IR-source is detected.

This is a scenario (after calibration)
1. Cursor is located over icon on desktop
2. User places pen over 'Start Button'
3. User clicks IR-Pen
4. Compuer moves cursor over 'Start Button' and registers a left click at that location
5. Computer opens 'Start' menu
5. User moves IR-pen over 'My Music'
6. User clcik IR-pen
7. Computer moves cursor over 'My Music' and registers a left click at that location
8. computer opens 'My Music' folder

Does that make sense ?

Oh, thank you. I wonder if there's a way to implement a pressure sensitive nib, so the cursor can follow the pen. That would be awesome.

No. The wiimote only registers infrared light. I tried anyway, and it didn't work. Tongue
