I found a IR Pen on Ebay. Just search "Infrared Pen". This is one link "http://cgi.ebay.com/Infrared-IR-LED-light-pen-with-momentary-switch_W0QQitemZ250251731631QQihZ015QQcategoryZ73340QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem"  It's not exactly a "pen" (a keychain LED) but it is indeed infrared (940nm wavelength) and works great for this project.

No need to try to find one on Ebay, since that won't be a steady source. A couple of us have started a company to sell them to people like us who don't want to build them  Smiley

We are at http://www.infraredpens.com. We are sold out for the next few days but will have inventory SHORTLY. We had to go through a lot of work to find a distributor and make this happen, so ENJOY!
