I've problem with the project , I'm using windows xp sp3 and Wiimote Smoothboard 0.4.6 software,
I don’t know if the problem from ir pen (I test it's working ) or wiimote  ( also working ) all connected with Bluetooth and the program.
But when calibration function opened I couldn't touch the ir points and there was no ir dots signal
By the way I used with the whiteboard and my laptop

Questions:
- are you using a projector to project your laptop screen to the whiteboard ?
- how far is your wiimote from your screen, and at what angle in front of it ?  Have you tried different positions/distances ?
- what type of IR LED are you using in your IR pen ?
- Have you tried facing your IR pen to your wii remote while in calibration mode, and then turn on your ir pen ? What happens ?


This happened to me, and it turned out that either my IR pen is not powerful enough, or my wiimote is not positioned properly to see the IR light from the pen.

1st i used a projector to project my laptop screen to the whiteboard  also direct to my laptop screen and I've used several directions and several distances with the wiimote
2nd yes i tried facing my IR pen to  wiimote while in calibration mode, and i turn on my ir pen there was signal ir dot Only when the grid very close to the wiimote
