The button is on the top (rear) of the pen.We decided to to set up a place where people could buy them because of our own trouble making one. After a LONG time trying to make one unsuccessfully, we searched in vain trying to find a place that sold ones we could just buy, and we noticed that there seemed to be a lot of other people with the same desire.
I feel you need to be clearer on your website on the location of the momentary switch, given the IR-Pen is most used by Whiteboard Application users. The momentary switch at the end of the pen is useless for a majority of Whiteboard users.
The pen does in fact work quite well with the whiteboard; but you are correct that a momentary switch closer to the front would be much easier. We are already working on offering another pen with this capability.
Hey all,We were unaware that a momentary switch on the top rendered the pen useless to many potential users of the wiimote whiteboard. We made the decision to discontinue selling this pen due to your responses, and we are in the process of creating a more convenient pen. For those who have already ordered one, if we are able to accomplish this, we will more than likely send you out at least 1 pen with the more convenient design (although this will have to be confirmed when all this is finalized). Stay tuned.
