that's pretty sweet, but i was thinking more alongthe lines of wiinremote but with the ability to redefine the directions of the nunchuck to, for example w,a,s, and d. but that awesome to know that it can be used in such a way.

Sounds like you might be looking for something like GlovePIE - it comes with a few Wiimote scripts, but there are plenty online. I was just using the nunchuck to play Mega Man X for SNES earlier and it worked great. (Anyone who tries this: Make Jump "A", Dash "B", and Charge "Down Arrow"!! Sidenote: I own both)
