hi im new to this so bear with me.
im curently trying to make a prototipe controler using the wiimote and nunchuck on the pc.

my questionis can i code the wiimote buttons to do any function i want them to do E.G. the home button as the triger to shoot and the 1 button to jump etc?HuhHuh??

I think there are a few programs that could be good for what you want. Try finding the following:

GlovePIE (completely configurable to what you want buttons for)
WiimoteLib (Use Wiimote Test to check that the nunchuk is appearing ok)
Wiimote Presenter


These make it possible to use the wiimote as an input device so, you should be able to setup the wiimote to how you want to use it for.
