Wii Dev Libraries

Hi, I'm new here. I'd like to start developing software for use with the wii-mote. Are there many dev libraries around? Are they free/open source? Where can I find them? I'm interested in getting all the info from the remote to the computer through bluetooth. I guess that's the easiest way to do it right?
Denis.

I like to use VB.net or C++.net
I'm trying to get some OpenGL stuff done, so maybe it would be better to stick with C++?

well in C you have
www.wiiuse.net
which is very good. In c++/c# you have another library (the one used by johnny lee i think) but i forgot the name.
And in c++ you have
http://wiiyourself.gl.tter.org/

Hi everybody.
I am a liitle new to programming/develpoing stuff since my specilization is in signal processing. Can anybody tell me if GlovePI could be used as a replacments for C (for using Wii) ? Also what kind of information is communicated between C program and Wii API when they are interfaced? examples...?
Thanks.

GlovePie is like a script for those who have little or no programming background to use it. If u want to use it just for wii, i think glovepie can do the job although it might not be as good as C programming cause the logic behind is not very clear, i mean the maths logic. But most of the things can be done using glovepie

I think I'll use WiiUse. I've looked at the documentation and it looks pretty clean and simple. Thanks.
