Couldn't see your stand... here is mine, made out of a broom holder (to tie a broom to the wall) from the dollar show, and a tripod from the dollar show.  

Total cost: 2 dollars and whatever 2 tiedowns cost.  Think it looks respectable and keeps my wiimote steady.

There are also some wiimote gun patterns in instructables that could be modified to use.
