Hi All

I've been working on a 3d object tracking demo using multiple wiimotes and needed a 'constant on' connection to the wiimotes rather than doing the tedious connection every time I start the app.  I've not looked into how anyone else is doing this but would love some feedback on what I've hacked together so far. 

It's a linux only app at the moment as I'm using shared memory for connecting to the user space application, so would probably need modifying to work completely cross platform.
It's built using fltk, and the libwiimote library.

If anyone is interested in having a play with it or helping me get it onto sourceforge then your most welcome!

This is how I'm doing the same thing.  The daemon is a lot simpler than yours, with only the ability to reset a wii remote and control the LEDs.  All the actual smarts are in a C file that gets linked into the application.

Regardless, I think that this two-application approach is the "right way", as it would allow for a single cross-platform API for communicating with wii remotes.
