Heya

Im Dariusz I'm 21 y old Game Art and Des Student and since yesterday I have decided to make one of those nice home made touch systems.

What I want to do is grab a projector( not sure which one yet), get a 50inch or so plexi glass(not sure which one yet) make some wooden legs and with use of wii remote create mirror touch screen.

I'm doing quite a lot of research about the projector and plexi but the WII magic is a little bit dark for me. I was wondering if some one could help me with it.

I saw in download section ( http://www.wiimoteproject.com/index.php?action=downloads;cat=1) I guess they are all the files I need to make it work, not sure tho...

my question is do I need to know some sort of coding/ c++ etc etc to make it work ?

Basically I want to make this, both long distance + short distance + pen interactive + glove... I also would like to try to model using it and do some proper 3D graphics like on my two other monitors...

Im running Windows 7 x64 bits.

Hi,

In summary, you are planning to interact away from the screen and also at the screen? (At the screen, with a pen. Away from the screen, with a glove. )

The codes available may not be sufficient for you as the applications are meant as standalone applications. For your case, you may need to integrate them. Also, it is written in C#.

Maybe you may need to consider or describe in detail your ideas with the system such as whether you are looking for 3D tracking.

Heya

Thanx for ur time boonjin !! Smiley

Em yep, well Id like to squeeze it all in tbh... I'm a CG Generalist&student and to work on 50 ich + screen in post work/ video etc etc would be heaven Smiley Im already running Cintiq 21ux from like 2 years.

I want to get the Glove + Pen + Finger option, I'm not sure if thats possible but I'd love to do it Smiley

Also about pen, I've been looking around for a while and I'm just wondering, has any1 try to use WACOM Pen ? They are touch sensitive, all we need is to get some battery inside and link somehow the led Smiley

3D tracking, that would be amazing too hehe Smiley Its the head tracking and ''3D vision'' or something like that right?

About the code, is there a way to use it as a simple mouse? Atleast with 1 finger... ofc being able to use 2 hands (4/6 fingers) would be just well... Heaven but anything would do Smiley

If no, well is any1 willing to code it for some ££ then?

Em to be clear just watch this video Smiley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKvZ4K5eA_c&feature=fvw that guy got it on touch screen + glove which is exactly what I want Smiley
