Hi @ all

first of all: sorry for my english, I am not a native speaker.

I don't know whether someone here can help me or give me some hints. For hours and hours I have been searching the Internet and trying different things, but I have not found the right thing I am looking for.

At our university we want to connect the Quanser 2DOF helicopter modell to a wii mote. Therefore I need to get Realtime Data from the WiimotePlus (accel. + gyros) and transfer it into a MatLab / Simulink Model, which I can compile for use with dSpace Software.

Is there any Software available, which can fulfill this? On Win7?
If I knew more about programming, I could do it myself, but I don't know how to code an application which reads data and hands it on to MatLab or writes it into a variable.

If I had the raw data between -1 and +1 or whatever, this would be great, conversion and filtering is not the problem. Just data extraction/programming.

Perhaps someone has an idea or has heard something about useful Software.

Thank you

Hi,

You may look at :

PS :
Actually, I can answer you about fwiine (http://fwiineur.blogspot.fr/search/label/release), only.
Well, fwiine can support simulink blocks.

Thank you, for your answer.
Do you know where the linked source:
accessing Wii accelerometer data in MATLAB
went? I guess this would held me with my problem.
I also found the wiiyourself project, which I think, would be the best start for accessing the wii accelerometer data with MatLab embedded C-Code.
But I guess I'll have to ask someone who has a broader knowledge of programming than I do, since I don't really manage to get the code itself compiled without the provided makefile.

Do you know, whether wIIfine is still working on win7, 64 Bit? Since I already tried to get it working, but did not succeed on my System.

Sorry, I cannot check if it works withwin7 64bits.
You will have to compile the application, I'm afraid.
About the C++ source, you may have a look at wiiuse or wiiyourself.
Well, a quick search  at sourceforge.net (wiimote) will give you more sources.

Hope this will help you.
