I do not have great programming knowledge however i would love anyones thoughts on implementing the VR within a highly developed 3d software package such as XSI 7.0. Is it possible? difficult? time consuming?

The best option for you is to start using boonJin's version as it has dedicated hotkey areas that you can assign controls to.

thanks, but I am not after mouse control within a 3d space specifically (i am sure i can do that), i am after the VR head tracking. I see you have used the example similar to Johnny Lee's 3d cage. I would like to replace the 3d cage with my own 3d model, whilst ALSO being able to move around the 3d space with the help of the wii remote (boonjin's software), i realise i will need 2 remotes to perform this but am unsure if its possible to put the code of the virtual reality head tracking into 3d software such as XSI?

Thanks.

I have no clue how you can integrate this into XSI but if you use Papervision it is very easy to import 3dmodels and use them

see here :

true 3dobjects used in Papervision...
