Hello;

I'm trying to get the Wiimote DesktopVR program running, but I keep hitting a snag.  I'm running Windows Vista 32bit Home Premium and using the BlueSoleis to connect my Wii to the computer.  I can successfully connect the Wiimote to the computer, but whenever the program starts up it cuts to a blue screen stating "BAD_POOL_HEADER".
I tried deleting the CAS files but nothing different occurred - just the same blue screen.
When my Wiimote isn't connected and I tried to run the program... nothing crashes, it simply asks if the Wiimote is connected.

I tried a different program called WiinRemote, but the same issue occurred.

However, the GlovePie works okay (but I haven't messed around too much in that program... I'm not the best code-writer..)

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Other attempts:
I forgot to mention that I also tried (each one was attempted separately):

Turning of my Norton Antivirus equipement
Running the program in compatibility mode as Windows XP (service Pack 2)
Disable visual themes
Running as an administrator

All resulting in the same blue screen.

Thanks.

Hi,
Ive been having a similar problem. My wiimote is connecting via Bluesoleil fine.
However my computer is bluescreening when I try to run certain scripts through glovePIE.
If the script trys to make use of the infra-red pointer or a wiimote attachment it then bluescreens and it get that message. "BAD_POOL_HEADER".
Trying to find a solution/waiting for someone else to come up with one.

I have the exact same problem (XP SP2), I can only use scripts that use the wiimote by itself on glove pie v.30  If I try to use a script that has to do with the classic controller, my PC goes to the blue screen with the "bad_pool_header" thing.

EX:If I use the script "Key.up = Wiimote.up" it works.

If I use a script like "Key.up = Wiimote.Classic.up" yup... blue screen to the face.

does it have something to do with the bluetooth by any chance?

No the bluetooth isn't the problem as i have tried running the scripts without a wiimote connected.

Also does your computer bluescreen when you try to run scripts with nunchuck or trying to use Infra-Red

I had that issue repeatedly using Blusoleil 6.0 Mobile.  Once I downgraded to Bluesoleil 5.0.5.178, I have had no more bluescreens.

DesktopVR still wouldn't run without crashing so I nabbed this Vista 64-bit code.  I had to remove a Application.DoEvents call to keep it from crashing.

I tryed to downgrade to that version, but now  I can't start bluetooth. When I try to start my bluetooth it says:  "Can not start Bluetooth. Bluetooth hardware not found." And my Bluetooth device on my control panel don't respond. When I upgraded my version, bluetooth worked again, but I got bluescreen. -_- What should I do? I'm a noob. =) I have 32bits vista.

Same problem!
Some Glovepie scripts work (eg LEDs and battery type ones), but the ones that access the accelerometer cause the blue screen.
I'm running Bluesoleil 5.2.227.1 on a Lenovo Thinkpad X61 Tablet PC.   Blue Soleil is the evaluation version - could that be causing the problem?
Any ideas?
Thanks!
