Hi there,

I am looking for schools that currently have the Wiimote running as an interactive board in classrooms. I am the tech director for a school for kids with learning differences in Savannah, Georgia USA. We have tested our Wiimote setup for months now, with limited success. I would like some help getting the system more reliable; our teachers are drooling for this setup.

Any help or names of schools would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Talk with or get in touch with Tino from www.irpensonline.com
He is terrific and will no doubt help you get it going flawlessly. He did for me.
One or two calls to him did the trick.

I have helped heeps of teachers in Australia set this up.
Your vista laptop is fine, you have the connection which solves that probelm (I think HP seem to have the best success)! Tino produces some awesome pens so you have the right hardware ("The Groove" is even better, I can't wait for mine).

To help you I need to know some basic info:
1. Go to your device manager, expand 'Bluetooth Device' then tell me the names of the loaded devices
2. Are you wanting a perminant install or a mobile IWB?
3. Which Wiimote IWB application are you using?
4. Is your projector ceiling mounted?
5. Where are you currently placing the Wiimote?
6. When you use the Wiimote IWB how do you stand?

I have been using the wiiboard in my classroom since September. I am in the same situation as you though-- I'm trying to work out the bugs so that I can introduce other teachers to the technology in the future. I'm also sharing the technology at an educational technology conference in Detroit in March.
