To date I have been able to draw curves in the SmoothBoard annotation mode, but now all I get are horizontal and vertical lines when attempting to draw a curve with the IR pen. Any help will be appreciated,

Hi,

If previously you are able to draw nicely in Smoothboard, most probably the battery of your IR pen has depleted and the Wiimote is unable to capture the IR point continuously.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Boon Jin

I can now draw nice curves, but it wasn't the battery.  May have been the tracking which was only 31% which has now been pushed up to 51%. Or it may have been that I had been messing around with the cursor files and caused the problem as I don't really know really know what I'm doing in that area.   Also thanks for the info on the "click and type keyboard" programme which allows for a great on screen keyboard.

Great.

Most probably it is because the IR point was not detected constantly by the Wiimote because of the placement.
The cursor files should not have any effect. Smiley
