I am having trouble moving my registered version of smoothboard 1.6 to my new laptop. The registration key that I used will not work on the new machine. I uninstalled smoothboard on my old machine but the uninstalation process does not release the registration key. I e-mailed payment@smoothboard.net but haven't heard anything yet. Anyone had a similar experience?

John,
SmoothBoard is currently licenced for a particular computer. You will have to contact the SmoothBoard team (admin@smoothboard.net ) to have them unlock it for your new computer.

We have just replied through e-mail. We apologize that we are unable to reply e-mails earlier as we are located in Singapore (+8 GMT). Usually we will reply all our emails as soon as we read them.

Update: Received an e-mail from Smoothboard explaining that the license key must be reset. The registration system is a bit quirky but Boon Jin makes up for it by quick responses to challenges. Smoothboard is still the best product around!

I think that the price for this fantastic piece of software is so cheap that that I have just simply bought a second licence for my laptop and no I have not got a bucket full of money.
