Hi all,

I have released a Chinese version of Smoothboard 1.5.

The translations are provided by my friend, Chu Xiaowei with the help of his friends.

The Chinese version can be downloaded from
http://www.smoothboard.net/download

If anyone is interested to localize the Smoothboard software to your language, please do contact us.

Thank you!

Regards,
Boon Jin

When using secondary screen for Smoothboard anotations do not work.  Only when I use Primary screen, I am able to use the anotaions.  THe same thing happens when I try to use the Linktivity presenter from Inter-tel.  I can only write when Smoothboard is on Primary screen.  We have two projectors in or Confrence room. One is for the Primary Screen and the other is for the secondary screen.  Applications are launched from the primary screen and then draged over to the Secondary screen when we want to use the SmoothBoard to draw or control the application.  Is there a way to enable the annotation to go across to the Secondary screen?

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback.

As this is the first release of the annotation tool, we are constantly improving on it. Smiley

The annotation is currently limited to the Primary screen.
I will try to work on this so that when the secondary screen is selected, the annotation will be in this screen as well.

Thanks again.

Boonjin,
One more issue that I have is programming a toggle button for on screen keyboard. I noticed it's not in any of the default set ups. When I try to program it on a button, nothing happens.  For now I just put a shortcut in my Quick launch Task Bar.  Has anyone else had this issue?  Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Thanks again.

Hi,

For the on screen keyboard, did you select the OSK.exe from the Windows directory?

By default, I have removed the on screen keyboard from the toggle areas. However, it is still accessible from the Smoothboard icon.

Hi,

I have made a new updated release of Smoothboard that should work correctly on the multi monitor setup.

The annotation tool should now work on the secondary monitor according to the settings provided in the software.

The latest version can be downloaded from http://www.smoothboard.net/download
