For those of us who are not adept (or too lazy) to piece a cheap IR pen together, would this "IR Stylus" work suitably for the whiteboard application or would there any modifications need to be made?  Thanks in advance!

CitrixCDM

Looks like it should subject to the following:
a) The IR-Led is strong enough
b) The momentary switch being on the side of the pen (looks like it may be on the top)

If you get one and it works PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW!

I have purchased two of these styli for testing, here's a reply to a PM that may help others.

***********
These styli are nice, but I'm not 100% sure they are the right thing for the Wiimote Whiteboard project.  The case and light output is nice, but the power switch is located in the end of the stylus and is not convenient.  It may be possible to rewire a switch down near the grip for on/off control while writing, but that defeats the purpose of getting a manufactured stylus in the first place.  A custom built IR stylus with an on/off switch located on the grip would be a better use of funds and time.
