I am trying the Wiimote Whiteboard for the first time using Johnny Lee's latest software (v0.3).  I got it installed and it recognizes the wiimote.  The problem is that I can't get it to calibrate.  When the program starts I click the 'A' button on the wiimote and the screen goes white and shows the first calibration point.  From here I can't get anything else to happen.  My first guess is that the problem is with my pen's bulb - maybe not bright enough?  It may be that the bulb is 1.8v and the AAA battery is 1.5v.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm guess you have made a common mistake, you are using a normal light not an Infrared light. The Wiimoet detects IR light (light you can't see with a naked eye).

If you want to test it I suggets you use a cigarette lighter (please use your brain and don't sue me if you set your living room alight). Fire emitted enough IR to be tracked by the wiimote. Then you will need to make an IR-pen or Buy one form the many sellers in the Market Place.
