Hello all,
I was thinking of using this interactive white board idea for my classroom, but instead using a projector and white board, I was basically thinking about making an interactive tv (big screen)(tv video out graphic card on the computer) as an additional classroom tool and keeping the traditional whiteboard free and not requiring a projector, I like this idea because there would not be any shadows on the surface as the light is projected out and would not require a dark classroom. My questions are; can use the infrared pen on the surface of the tv screen without any problems? Can you calibrate it to the dimensions of the tv?
Any comments?

Will work but:
1. Must be flat surface (LCD, plsma, etc)
2. LCD is pressure sensitive, I suggest you use a screen protector.

If your students are going to interact with it I suggest you get a very thin peice of perspex to protect the screen.
