I know a lot of people want right click and and mouse functionality with the wiimote.  But I was thinking, has anyone tried taking a basic presenter mouse remote that has all the buttons for mouse clicks and hotkeys and just putting an ir light on it to use that as a pen?  The battery and light could be taped on initially until someone found a good model that would allow for perhaps more asthetic build.  I will look into buying one to try our, but wasn't sure if anyone had tried this.

I used a mini Bluetooth mouse, worked a treat. BT gave great range.

I use a "plug n play" presenter in my left hand and hold the IR Pen in my right.  The presenter has mouse functions so a right click is no problem.  Also, after about ten minutes of using a presenter with an IR pen you will find that some things are easier to do with the presenter and some things are easier to do with the IR pen.  I'm right handed so if I need to click something on the left side of the board, I usually use the presenter. This way I don't block the screen for my students.  Having the presenter allows me to walk around the classroom and still be able to interact with the board.
