Hey everyone,
Yes I realize I'm double-posting, as there is a similar thread running over in the Support Forum, but it seems this one gets a little more traffic so hopefully it'll get noticed. There have been (as of my last viewing) 5 requests to join the Mac OS development team on the sourceforge page, including my own, for this project to port it into at least Carbon, if not Cocoa and build the Obj/C required to interface with the hardware. Is there any chance of the source code being released so some of us Mac programmers can get working on it? We'd like to help :)

Once again sorry for double posting.

Sincerely,
Matt S.

I second this. I'm a VB.NET/C# programmer by day, but I do a bit of Cocoa in my spare time. I'd love to see a Cocoa or Carbon version of either the Whiteboard (or indeed the VR project) and will do what I can to help.

hi folks, I emailed Johnny directly and got a very speedy reply with mac source code attached. It's currently very buggy and non-functional. I've tried to piece it together but my coding skills are rusty. What you prob should request is that Johnny upload the files to his sourceforge page so all can fiddle as they like.

I'm trying to port linux python version to MacOSX. I haven't much free time and my programming skills are poor, but as soon as I get something useful I'll share it.

Hello, if you are interested, i'm working on a Mac Cocoa Wiimote Framework (WiimoteKit).
This framework is in early developement stage, and any help will be welcome, but it already has some interesting features.
It can be used as base to implement wiiwhiteboard.

I've been using DarwiinRemote to do some testing with WiiRemote. Works well on the Mac which has a complete BT stack unlike Windows. Code is on SourceForge.

Hi, I did a rewrite of the program in Java which can be found here: http://www.uweschmidt.org/wiimote-whiteboard
It should work out of the box under Mac OS X Tiger on an Intel Mac (at least that's my development environment).
Haven't tested any other platforms hence feedback is highly appreciated. Tell me what you think...

Uwe

I have tested Uwe's program and it worked well in my initial tests.  Excellent work, Uwe!!!!!!!

I can't get it to work on my Vista laptop but it worked well on an Intel Mac Mini.  :) :) :)
