Great slides, love the Wiimote hanging from its own strap, genius!

I'm going to add that one to the Wiki.

Have you seen the setup guide and manual? http://www.boonjin.com/smoothboard will hopefully give soe more ideas.

well, genius is what you're doing, and thanks for all the work you're putting into it.   Smiley

Just a quick question on Smoothboard.....
-is there anyway to turn off the wiimote from Smoothboard?

thanks

Hi Dale,

Unfortunately the Smoothboard does not handle the connection between the Wiimote and the Computer. You will have to disconnect the bluetooth connection with the Wiimote or disabling your bluetooth device.

You can also use Thex's WiimoteConnect.

Here is a 2 minute video for starting up the Java Wiimote Whiteboard I made as reference for other teachers in my building.

If the embed code doesn't work here is the link      http://maculspace.ning.com/video/vid00119-1

I've just got my Wii Remote mounted to a tripod. It's really flexible, and I can break it down easily. I have to be a little bit careful with transporting it so that I don't harm the Wii Remote. But I will trade the added caution for a fully-functioning electronic whiteboard. XD

Here's the deal - I think your wiimote set-ups are awesome. I like the way they're more for a permanent mount set-up. From the looks of it, they would get awesome resolution . . .

Sweet! Glad to see the pictures (cool slideshow, by the way. Very informative, it looked like it was designed to be presented to teachers? Like, as an educational aid. Like, hey teachers, learn about this whiteboard thing).

To help transport I have a large tuperware type container with a clip down lid. I used the camera case foam (little squares pre cut so can be easily shapped) to make a nice little case that fits everything inside for easy transport and protection.
