Hello,

I am new to this project.

I have setup the wiimote and can use my PC screen as a touch screen. For the first few mins the every thing is fine and the tracking is very accurate. After a few mins the accuracy falls.

The tracking utilization is 9%.
WIN XPWiimote Smoothboard

Any ideas?

Cheers

Its a game the little grey image at the bottom of the main menu in Smoothboard your aim is to make the little white square (if you are only getting 9% tracking utilisation it will be little) as big as possible.

The next problem is to make sure you are not knocking your Wiimote or often i find when i use my LCD screen knocking your screen. Even a small movement will throw the calibration out.

Hi benpaddlejones,

Thanks alot for the reply.

I see the problem with me knocking the LCD screen. So the board / screen must be fixed?

Cheers

Depends, I don't need to fix mine but I do need to fix my laptop screen (usually a thick book behind). How mobile is your screen?

I would suggest just using lighter actions unless your screen is very mobile. I would also suggest if you consider prolonged usage buying a large screen protector on ebay to prevent scratching your nice LCD screen to bits.

Hi benpaddlejones,

Thanks for the reply.

My screen is quite mobile I will try to fix it today.

I will look into the projector, should get a nice second hand one.

Watch out, the Globes for the older models cost more than the whole unit. Plus they are very sensitive to heat change and movement.

I regularly check ebay here in OZ and am yet to see anything worth while. I think they will come down marketably over the next six months as larger LCD TV's become more affordable and require less setup.
