Hi

I have followed a method which has been successful for others, connecting a 3 volt power supply into a rechargeable battery pack which takes the place of ordinary batteries. I also bypassed the rechargeable batteries and wedged the red button so it will sync every time I turn on.

Unfortunately it is not detected by bluetooth. I have noticed that with the leds on the wiimote, 4 flash then 3, then 2, then 1. So I'm guessing this indicates a lack of power Huh ( Please advise if I'm wrong )

I have measured the voltage output and it is about 3v. The current from the power supply is 400ma but the output from the battery pack is about 240ma. ( There may be a resistor in the battery pack )

What kind of current should work with the wiimote ?

3v 1a works a treat. But you need to make sure is actually 3v at the connections. Often if poor quality ables can get a significant voltage drop along cable. Check with a multimeter.
