I want to make an iwb using wii but am not sure what kind of projector i need for my ESL class in Greece. Does it matter if the "analysis" is 800 * 600 or 1024 * 768? The second ones seem a bit expensive for our budget.
The whiteboard our classroom has is about 150cm * 100cm

If the price is an issue, the 800*600 is sufficient for most general lessons and presentations.
However, at the native resolution of 800*600 of the projector, you will notice that you little space for interacting with the computer as everything appears bigger. For example, the MS Office 2007 toolbar will use a significant portion of the screen. The projector should be able to handle higher resolution input such as 1024*768 but the effect on the screen will be lost of sharpness as the input is down sampled from 1024*768 to 800*600.
The whiteboard in your classroom is not too huge, so it should be alright to use the 800x600 projector with the above limitations.
