My Whiteboard application runs great. I just connect the Wiimote the computer, start the Whiteboard app, run the calibration and off I go. After about 15 minutes of flawless performance, Windows tells me that the Whiteboard app has encountered an unexpected error, and that the program needs to close. After I tell the Microsoft pop-up "Yes, fine, close the program", my Bluetooth turns off (the Bluetooth icon remains in the taskbar, but it's gray and disabled instead of blue).

I can turn the Bluetooth right back on, and run the whiteboard again, no problems (until the entire thing ceases to function again after about 15 minutes).

This happens with both Smoothboard and with Johnny Lee's WiimoteWhiteboard v0.3

Anyone know why this happens?

I'm using a Jabra A320s Bluetooth dongle to allow the Wiimote to connect with the computer. However, I had to download BlueSoleil, because the software bundled with the Jabra bluetooth dongle didn't let the Wiimote connect to the computer.

My BlueSoleil evaluation period will run out soon, after which I will be whiteboard-less. I may purchase a new Bluetooth dongle. The new dongle may give me software that is compatible with the Wiimote, thereby precluding the necessity of purchasing BlueSoleil for $29.95.

Any help or insight would be much appreciated, thanks everybody. Cheesy
