just did a few tests on my wiimote to determine its maximum field of view (held it above paper as far as it could go before seeing an IR source on the table, measured the height, did some trig, presto)

jonny lee mentioned a few times that the viewing angle was "about 45 degrees", however this is far off from my calculations.

was jonny lee mistaken? or is my experiment faulty? Because 21 degrees is borderline tunnel vision.
