when I try to work smoothboard programme,IR dots perceive 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 pen immediately.The cursor slides left top corner.I can't do calibration as well.I used 3 different wii remote but I faced with the same problem.please help me

It is possible that the wii remotes you have are the non-genuine ones which will cause the software to register 4 IR dots all the time.

I have made the latest Smoothboard 1.1 to be compatible with these non-genuine Wiimotes.

It can be downloaded from here:

If the problem still persist, most probably you have other IR light source present.

You can use the Calibration viewer to see in real time the positions of the IR dots detected by the application.

Used to get an identical problem when I had my first experimental set it up in October last year. I have skylights across my whole classroom on one side and windows on the other. Sunlight or reflection can trigger this problem. Also if the batteries were a little flat, the frustrating problem you mentioned would happen. I have converted my wiimote to AC power and have never had the issue since, even with the skylights. It's been running 6 hours a day, 5 days a week - no problems. Check your batteries.
